"As you are, so the world is."

Witnessing Consciousness is the regular recognition of the perceiver, in oneself and in all others. By remembering that we are each, always, witnessing one another, we can cut through the habiliments of the personality and meet at the level of the sovereign being beneath it. To witness is not to judge but to behold. Judgment fixes a person in place, while beholding leaves them free to move. And because, as we are, so the world appears to us, to change the witness is to change what is witnessed. A different quality of attention does not merely see a different world, it helps call a different world into being.

It does not change every external fact, and the witness remains accountable for the frames and the power they bring to what they see.
